Originally from Olathe, Kansas, Dr. Chelsea earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Rockhurst University, building upon her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science. With extensive experience in outpatient settings, Dr. Chelsea has successfully treated patients across various age groups and with diverse needs.
Dr. Chelsea has a passion for treating chronic pain and complex medical cases as she has a history of being the patient in chronic pain due to complex health conditions. She understands what it is like to not be heard, have concerns dismissed, and having health care providers ignore her needs. She has made it her mission to make every patient feel heard and understood while giving them hope for what life can be.
Her passion for sports medicine and injury prevention is deeply rooted in her own experience as a collegiate athlete, as the former trainer for the Kansas City Blues Rugby team, and as the current medical provider for the Kansas City Courage women’s soccer team.
