Welcome to Thrive Physical Therapy – Where Your Needs Come First

Welcome to Thrive Physical Therapy – Where Your Needs Come First

Welcome to Thrive Physical Therapy in Olathe, KS, where we place patient needs above everything else. Thrive PT is not your typical physical therapy clinic; every visit you will get a full hour of one-on-one care from a doctor of physical therapy! It is vital to patient care that every patient gets the care they need and deserve. A full hour appointment allows for patients to be heard, treated, and taught so there is no mystery to the plan of care or what the patient needs.

Every Appointment Is About You

Every appointment starts with a conversation about what the patient is feeling and what has been going on in their life to make sure the treatment is specific to each individual patient. Once that information is gathered, the physical therapist will do manual therapy to assess and treat what is going on with the tissues, joints, and nerves. Then the patient will do exercises that complement what was done with the manual therapy and make those changes stick.

What to Expect During Your Visit

The exercises done in the session will be given as a Home Exercise Program (HEP) to maintain and progress improvements made between appointments. Throughout every appointment, the physical therapist will be teaching and explaining what is going on with the patient’s body, why the treatments have been chosen, and how they will help the patient. At Thrive PT, we strive to make sure the patient feels included and comfortable with the plan of care. Meeting the specific needs of each patient is the number one priority of each appointment.

Why We Spend a Full Hour With Every Patient

Being able to treat patients fully and have hour long appointments is the reason Thrive PT was created. Working in a standard outpatient clinic revealed how truly broken the US healthcare system is and how insurance is a hindrance to patient care. That is why Thrive PT is as far removed from the healthcare system as it can be, by not taking insurance.

Why We Don’t Take Insurance (And Why That’s Good for You)

The number one reason we don’t take health insurance is because the people at the insurance company, making the decisions on what is covered, are not doctors of physical therapy and never even went to physical therapy school. The approach of Thrive PT is to leave the treatment decisions to the doctors of physical therapy and the patients.

Created with Purpose – Focused on You

At Thrive PT, the patient is our number one priority and we THRIVE on seeing our patients THRIVE! Our model allows us to provide high quality, personalised, and effective care without compromise. If you’re ready to take control of your health and receive care that is truly built around you, we’re here for you. Schedule a consultation today!
